His tendency towards the Arts was announced soon. Illustrate felt a fondness for imaginary environments. Early in his career, his visual language was dominated by drawing, his style includes techniques such as acrylic painting, watercolor, collage and drawings in pen, pencil, pastel and oily ink, among others. In his work is a constant recurrence of surrealism, cubism and abstract art.

He earned a BA in Psychology and a expertise in the areas of clinical and educational psychology at the Universidad Francisco Gavidia. Although considered largely self-taught, he took classes at the National Arts Centre-DINNER.
